2009 Acura TL: Spied!

Although this prototype is cloaked in camouflage, this is the first time the 2009 Acura TL sedan has been photographed while testing during daylight hours.
Although nearly everything is covered in vinyl, a closer look at the headlamps and especially the taillights, indicates that this sedan will carry over strong styling cues from Acura’s Advanced Sedan Concept, which was first shown at the 2006 Los Angeles Auto Show.
We still don’t know too much about the 2009 Acura TL other than these pictures, but if Honda’s reluctance to build a V-8 engine still holds, we expect a V-6 engine with 300 horsepower in the 2009 Acura TL, along with a version of Acura’s SH-AWD system.
