TheCarConnection.com's spies caught the 2010 Kia Sorento during hot weather tests in Death Valley. This is our first look at the next Sorento from a variety of angles, and Kia's ever-improving styling touches are quite apparent through the camouflage.The Sorento will share the Hyundai Santa Fe's unibody platform, and its overall look is significantly more polished than the outgoing model. We expect the driving experience to be equally polished when compared to the rugged body-on-frame makeup of the current Sorento.
Sources suggest that the new Sorento will be powered by the 3.8-liter Lambda V-6, with the possible addition of a 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine.--KGP Photography
