Spears was nabbed by paparazzi this week, driving away in her Lincoln Navigator with five-month-old Sean Preston in her lap, not in a rear-mounted car seat. Spears said that the photographers were at fault in the Malibu incident, and that she had her son in her lap to escape a “horrifying, frightful encounter with the paparazzi.” The snappers in questions, the Los Angeles-based X17 agency, demurred in a statement to the future network anchors at Access Hollywood: “These pictures were taken in a very peaceful context, in which photographers exhibited no aggressive behavior,” X17 said in a statement. Spears’ son was born last fall to the Louisiana native and her husband, nominee for Lucky Sperm Club president, Kevin Federline.
