At Long Last, a Use For Those Diehard K-Cars

At Long Last, a Use For Those Diehard K-Cars
We’re so late on these things. In fact, this TV clip aired while I was cheering on Duke to their first national championship. But we’re bringing it to you nonetheless, because we always wondered what happened to all the K-cars that should still be in their third and fourth lives, careening down Ponce de Leon Boulevard in Atlanta with one wheel about to detach itself.

It turns out, a vast underground’s been turning K-cars into four-wheel drives. And you can do it at home too--but there’s a catch. You’ll actually need two K-cars, the jaws of life and a lot of duct tape. Your instructors today: the long-cancelled crew responsible for The Red Green Show, which originally aired on Canadian television for fifteen years, starting in 1991.

If friends didn’t email us stuff, we’d never get a clue. Roll tape.
