They must be confusing it with the Rubbermaid Toolshed that Honda used as design inspiration...

My experience with Hondas is that, like most other cars, the weather-stripping around the doors isn't all that great and I find it improbable that they could hold water, given all the wind noise that comes through the doors.
The rubber floor mats in the Honda Element give the appearance that if the interior were dirty, it could simply be hosed out. Not so! People who have hosed out their Honda Elements have inadvertently caused electrical short circuits when water came into contact with wiring underneath the rubber floor mats. Honda advises against hosing out your Element and damage from doing so will not be covered under warranty.

Reminds me of the guy who spilt beer on his PC keyboard and put it on the radiator to dry out - needless to say the combination of beer and heat did wonders for the operability of the keyboard. And he wondered afterwards why the keyboard didn't work anymore. Accelerated testing domestic style!!

I just got rid of a Civic - might be called something else in the US. It was dreadful. Incredibly thirsty, rotten gearchange, virtually impossible to reverse accurately due to the mad rear window. I finally flipped when the filler cap wouldn't open and I was told it was a known fault.
Honda used to make simple cars that worked. now they make complicated cars that don't. Just like their F1 cars.
