2010 Buick LaCrosse Spied, Inside and Out

Once again, TheCarConnection.com's spies have stumbled upon the 2010 Buick LaCrosse -- but this time they managed to get some interior views, as well as (for the first time) a look the production exhaust tips.

Looking closely, it appears the new LaCrosse will have some Enclave-like styling cues – especially on the rear doors and fenders.

Codenamed GMX353, this second-generation LaCrosse will be riding on the new global front-wheel-drive Epsilon II platform. It will be the first car sold in the United States to use this architecture. GM's new 3.6-liter V-6 is expected to be the powerplant.

Production is expected to start at the Fairfax, Kansas, facility in February of 2009, with cars reaching dealerships shortly afterwards as a 2010 model. Annual production numbers in the 65,000-75,000 range are expected.--Brian Williams for Brenda Priddy & Company

Buick is Back and will be Better than Ever!!!

Cannot wait to see this baby with the camo gone!

But we have to wait till 2010 to get it???

Come on GM...make this car before Buick goes out of business with the slow selling vehicles they have now...excluding the Enclave.

Hey Ed. Doesn’t MB also build big V6’s, monster V8’s and gas guzzling V12’s and install them in some of the biggfest & heaviest cars in the world?

    DUH!

    1. SO WHAT?

    2. Do you KNOW how many they sell that are V12d etc? A HANDFUL. So YOU get a CLUE, clueless idiot.

really believe you cannot even BEGIN TO GRASP the M-B BREAKTRHRU. You can't be THAT biased.

PS To say "Stupid Buick" is the definition of REDUNDANCy. Look the word up, hillbilly.

How does one know that this is the Lacrosse? It could be an Impala replacement, G6, Aura, Opel.

The Mercedes won't even be available in the US. Yawn. It might as well be the Tata Nano. Who really cares, if you can't get it anyway?

Buick will certainly be available here, and be a better value to boot. Relevance trumps all.

Now will it look as good as the Invicta appears in the tease pics?

Will it have an AWD option? To be competitive and bring in grandpa's son it should.

I really want this one to be more than a nice rental for Buick's sake.

Drove a current Lacrosse Super two weeks ago from Hertz. It was a great car. Nice waterfall grill, chrome strips on the front and rear fascia, and chrome door handles and dual-exhaust tips. 5.3 liter V-8 with great power. I have not owned a new American-made car since '78 (Buick Regal Sport Coupe turbo-3.8 V6) The Lacrosse and rental drives in an Impala SS have opened my eyes (somewhat) to what's coming out of GM. But they have huge hurdles to overcome with their perceived quality. I am proof of that.

Ed's flame-baiting. He boosts his low ego by harassing those who know better. It’s better to just take pity on him.

Ed, bashing is easy; but it also can reveal that one doesn't know the subject. You must have NOT driven the current module nor any of the prototypes of the new one. Yet, you assigned "old ladies" to it to drive.

Buick needs a real halo car. Something not shared with any other brand that draws people into the showroom. I just don't see Buick surviving in the north-american market without an identity.
