Dodge Prices 2009 Ram

Chrysler says its 2009 Dodge Ram pickups will sport a base price tag of $22,170 when they go on sale later this year.

The regular-cab Ram at that price will be topped by the Quad Cab models at $26,225 base and the Ram Crew 1500 at $32,530. Al prices include a boosted destination charge of $900.

The new Ram has a tidy new shape and lots of new features, including a class-leading 0-60 mph time of less than 6 seconds, Dodge says. The HEMI V-8 produces 390 horsepower and gets 20 mpg, they add, and four-wheel anti-lock brakes are now standard across the lineup.

Dodge points out the Ram has more standard features and a lower base price this time around. And in 2009 models, a Crew cab is available for the first time in the light-duty Ram. Five trim levels are spread out across the lineup: ST, SLT, TRX, Sport and Laramie.
