Big 3 CEO's just as corrupted as politicians

Gina, maybe it's time for you to wake up. I have no problems if the big 3 want to pay their retirees with insurance benefits if and only if my hard earned money is not going to bail these irresponsible, reckless and immoral companies.
Truth is if the big 3 build vehicles that are competitively priced and able to compete with the rest of the world than they wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.
From the blogs that I've read on here, a lot of people got burned one time or another by these big 3 including me. Who wants to pluck down their hard earned money and buy an inferior product at a higher price? And then lose most of it in depreciation in a short time? Not to mention the rattling from the suspension after about 6 months of driving and in about a year, the squeaks and rattles from the interior's poor fit and finishes. By year 3, just about everything on the car except the drive train, needs to be replace.
When gas reached a high of $5 a gallon here in Southern Cal, GM poured millions into their big truck segment by making hybrid technology available on the Tahoe's, Suburban, Escalade and pick ups. Guess what the outcome is? 15mpg city for gas and 20mpg hybrid and highway difference is only 1 mpg. Price? almost $15,000 extra between the non hybrid and the hybrid model.
Any one with an ounce of common sense would look at the numbers and scrap the project but what did GM do? They went ahead with it anyway disregarding of the bleak outcome on such an expensive project with losing propositions.
So for the ignorants that thinks that buying foreign is anti american, the bottom line is most people are being smart with their money. Why would anyone buy ANY product that is more expensive when they can buy one that's better made and priced more competitively?
Gina, with your sense of entitlement, sure it would be nice to retire with insurance and benefits for retiree employees and their family. GM was able to do that 50 years ago when they was on top of their game. But now, they can't even turn a profit because of mismanagement and poor products. If Gina still thinks that no matter what then I would like to see her open up her own company and I will go work for her company. I am a union blue collar worker and I am good in my field and I am worth 50 bucks an hour with a mandatory raise each and every year. And oh, I want insurance and benefits after I retire for me and my family and I don't care if her company turns a profit or not because I am entitled. If Gina is against it then she is anti american..
What is the difference between extortion when the government takes my hard earned tax dollar to bail out these reckless companies without my consent? So when the mafia take peoples money without their consent it is extortion and they will be charged with racketeering. So when the government does it what is it called? Government calls it helping out the economy by giving these companies billions of our hard earned dollars so the executives and politicians can reaps the benefits in forms of benefits, perks and millions of dollars in bonuses of running a huge company into the ground without an ounce of accountability.
