Suzuki SX4t Turbo Concept to Debut at SEMA
Suzuki SX4t Turbo Concept to Debut at SEMATo turn the spunky little 2009 Suzuki SX4 crossover into the angry SX4t Turbo Concept, Suzuki also adds a 38mm wastegate, GRIP springs, and a rear anti-roll bar all from a performance company called Road Race Motorsports. Slotted front discs and performance pads help bring all that turbocharged rush to a halt.
The designers even eliminated some exterior clutter to make the SX4 a little more street racer and a little less grocery getter. They removed the roof rack, installed a Road Race CarbonTrix carbon fiber hood, and even graced the A, B, C, and D pillars (this is basically a mini-wagon) with a complementary dark metallic gray finish. Below the waist, the concept is painted Suzuki Quicksilver metallic, reportedly a good match with the Rota 17-inch five-spoke wheels gripping 225/45R17 Yokohama Advan Neova tires.
The inside is equipped to match, with custom seat covers echoing the silver exterior, a "JDM Suzuki Swift" sport steering wheel, sequential-style shift knob and billet-drilled pedal set from Genuine Suzuki Accessories (this is all starting to sound very Scion-like). Not to forget the audio, the SX4t Turbo Concept has some bump courtesy of a Rockford Fosgate system with customized amp, sub, and speakers.--Colin Mathews
