SEMA 2008: Tuners on Parade
SEMA 2008: Tuners on ParadeIt's hard to tell if the Specialty Equipment Market Association, or SEMA, has measured any drop-off, what with the collapse in car sales. But SEMA's not about new cars, per se--it's about taking new cars and classic cars alike and transforming them with the power of horsepower and body kits and outrageous add-ons--often to the point of no return, as with the barely recognizable 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe shown off today at SEMA by the manufacturer.
TheCarConnection.com is at the Vegas aftermarket throwdown. Today we'll bring you what the manufacturers are showing off--everything from a special no-boundaries SVT version of Ford's new F-150 pickup, to a tweaked-out Honda Fit with Mugen influences. Later this week, you'll see the strangest sights from SEMA--like a HEMI-powered Rolls-Royce, or a brand-new 1969 Mustang.
Keep your browsers trained on our SEMA show index, and remember, you can get an email wrap-up of TheCarConnection.com's new content every day by subscribing here.
