GM Nixes Corporate Jet Fleet
GM Nixes Corporate Jet FleetGM states that, due to a depressed market and resultant cost cutbacks, its "travel volume no longer justifies a dedicated corporate aircraft operation." As such, they are looking at transferring their aircraft to another operator and selling four aircraft so that they can terminate the leases on those planes.

From what I've heard/read/seen I don't think GM will survive , with or without government backed loans. Just look at some of the basic parts of the plan. They are considering their 'options,' sell or kill, with regards to Saturn. Isn't Saturn the division that sells fuel efficient cars? Yet they have no plans on doing anything with GMC, the truck brand? Doesn't GM sell they exact same trucks with the Chevy badge on the hood?
Sorry GM, but your plan isn't good.
For the record, I do think: GM, Ford and Chrysler should get the discount loans but clearly GM is in need of brighter leadership.
