Word on the street is that Rolls is planning Coupe and Convertible iterations of its new sub-Phantom sedan, the 200EX concept revealed earlier this month at the Geneva Motor Show. As part of our coverage of the show, we told you about the 12-cylinder-powered concept that will share key structural elements with the redesigned 2009 BMW 7-Series and is the fourth Rolls-Royce vehicle to be developed by BMW.

The new sedan, rumored to be named 'Silver Ghost' and intended for production in about a year, is a decidedly large vehicle but nonetheless shrinks in the shadow of the gargantuan Phantom that we're haughtily piloting around SoCal this week (and feeling like Daddy Warbucks in the process).

In addition to a smaller size, the Silver Ghost should carry a smaller sticker price (somewhere between $200,000 and $300,000), bringing Rolls cachet down to those who are simply extremely rich. The Phantom begins at a dizzying $425,700, a price that consigns it to the impossibly wealthy.
