- Autopr0nography -- It's Wednesday, and all the cool kids are at the New York Auto Show, so what's a staff of bloggers to do while waiting for news to trickle in? Ogle some unaffordable Italian racecar hotness, of course--like maybe the Maserati GranTurismo MC? Hey, it's totally normal, and everybody does it. We won't tell. [Carzi]
- Getting the green light -- Certain things in life aren't fair--Tobey Maguire's career, for example. He appears in great films (Spiderman 3 excepted), spends on-screen time with hot people (Christina Ricci excepted), and he has his own production company. And as if that weren't enough, he's gunning hard to star in a film about the 1961 Formula One world championship race.... Dang, our morning coffee just got really bitter. [NYTimes]
- Good news, Gladys Kravitz -- Spying on your friends, family, and employees just got easier, thanks to LiveViewGPS. The company's array of devices provide "GPS tracking, GPS monitoring and management for vehicles, assets, equipment, property and persons". No, it's not groundbreaking technology; we just think some of the products are kinda funny--notably the "GPS Elderly Locator". Wasn't that the original title for Matlock? [LiveViewGPS]
- Download and drive -- If you're an Audi fan and you enjoyed the Truth in 24 documentary (free iTunes download here) and you have an iPhone or iPod Touch, you might be interested in the Truth in 24 racing game (which is also free via the iTunes app store). It's pretty standard fare, and it made our test phone crash the first time it loaded, but hey, free is always nifty. [Edmunds]
- Silent green -- There's a lot to love about motorcross--the speed, the adrenaline, the audacity of numbskull showoffs who end up face-planting into hillsides. So a 24-hour race of 50 Zero X electric motorcycles sounds pretty awesome, right? Except, well, it doesn't sound so awesome. We understand the need to cut down on cycle noise, and we appreciate the Zero X's green intentions, but would it kill 'em to pump a little "vroom, vroom" through the loudspeakers? [Wired]
