Chrysler May Still Build Nissan's Full-Size Pickup

It's no secret that Chrysler had at least three product deals in the works with Nissan ... at least prior to Chrysler's filing for Chapter 11 and inking a deal with Fiat. The Italian alliance seemingly supersedes the need for Nissan to supply Chrysler with small cars (one based on the Nissan Versa and another following the styling of the 2006 Dodge Hornet concept car), but doesn't impinge on Chrysler providing Nissan the underpinnings of their new full-size pickup, likely to continue as the Titan.

Such alliances certainly aren't new between manufacturers. Chrysler has a long and storied history of using, and being used, by other manufacturers. Anybody remember the Plymouth Cricket? How about the second-generation Dodge Colt or the Plymouth Arrow?
