The teen years aren't easy ones. Most of us are crippled by peer pressure, the desire to fit in, and endless waves of surging hormones. As a result, teenagers can be jerks, especially to their parents. Take for example this young man (we'll call him Stephen, since that's what his parents call him) who's been given a used truck for his 16th birthday. Yeah, it's in rough shape, and yeah, the rest of the family drive HUMMERs, but that's no reason to start blubbering like Mark Sanford and smacking the thing with a baseball bat. [Walletpop via JV]

I'm sure that was all staged. The acting was terrible. If it was real, then the minute the kid came out with a bat, everybody would have tackled him. Get with the program, guys.
Personally, I'm torn. Parts seem canned, but other part seem awfully real. And heck, it's certainly no more stagy than any of that "Real Housewives of Whatever" crap....

A cheap paint job would only cost a few hundred dollars and would cover up what is obscene about that truck.

It didn't even look like he was inflicting any damage with his blows. Maybe it's the low quality of the YouTube vid.
I still say it was staged.

Looks pretty staged to me, too. If it was real, I think the kid would've busted out the glass first. Copycat video. Totally a copycat video. And poorly done.
