Bob Lutz is known for speaking his mind, whether or not that mind is fully in gear. (Remember when he called global warming "a total crock of shit"? Sweet.) Well, it appears Lutz's outspokenness is causing some consternation among GM's other top brass. Case in point: when Lutz recently said "we decided that we would continue to import [the Pontiac G8] as a Chevrolet", he was apparently a tad premature. GM is now doing its best crab walk around that statement, reiterating that it's looking at a variety of options for the G8, but "no decision has been made at this time". Great to have you back, Bob. Good times ahead! [KickingTires]
