If you're heading to the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, we suggest a quick side-trip to the Mecum auction taking place in Monterrey, California this Saturday. Among the many lots perched on the auction block, you'll find this baby: a fully restored, supercharged 1970 Dodge Charger. And as a bonus for movie buffs, the Hemi-powered coupe was featured in the original Fast & Furious movie, where it was driven by Vin Diesel. No word on the price it might fetch, but it's probably less than Diesel made on the film and more than our annual take-home. [Mecum via AutoMotto]

is this the same 1970 charger (or "hammer") that has a fake blower that is run by an electric water pump on the......chevy engine? or is the hemi from the first movie finally finished and put in there? oh yea and can't forget the hydraulic ram that lifts the front up so the tires spin during a wheelstand (impossible w/o the lift)

it's the car from the first movie. 4 cars where built but just one was a "real" bad car. the others just for the stunts. this one was the car which raced at the end of part one.
