Contest: Post Your Project Vid, Become An eBay Motors Master

Planning to trick out your vintage Mazda RX7 for a little off-roading adventure? Or maybe you're hoping to upgrade that $1000 beater into a Lexus-style luxury ride? Whether it's a weekend project or a year-long labor of love, grab the via camera, shoot some footage of yourself amongst the wrenches, and post it to eBay Motors by September 7 for a shot at the title of 2009 eBay Motors Master.

The idea, of course, is to turn in a video that shows off not only an awesome ride, but also some serious garage prowess -- and a little razzle-dazzle in the presentation wouldn't hurt, either. Among the prizes up for grabs are $2,500 in cash (deposited...

Driven: Suzuki SX4t Turbo

Dealer-installed, official performance accessories not only help give you the exact car you want; they also drive profits at the local dealership—with sales commissions and expert installations done by the service department. And by now, most non-luxury brands have their own in-house lines of add-ons: Mopar (Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep), NISMO (Nissan), TRD (Toyota-Scion), and MazdaSpeed (Mazda) are just a few.

Turbo-Powered Ford F-150 Is REALLY Turbo Powered

Remember that episode of Family Guy where Peter thought it'd be fun to fill up his truck with jet fuel and fly around town? Well, he's been one-upped: Michigan's Chris Lentz took a 728-pound jet engine from pre-war Czechoslovakia and a 20-gallon kerosene tank, and bolted both of them to the back of his 2005 Ford F-150. Sadly, the truck can't actually fly, but it makes a very respectable 0-60 mph in 8.5 seconds. And as you'll see from the clip above, it sounds just as badass as it looks.
