Report: Mercedes Benz CLC To Be Replaced With New C-Class Coupe

Sharing parts with both the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and C-Class, the new E-Class Coupe hits its marks as a mid-level premium two-door. But where's the real C-Class Coupe in Mercedes' lineup?

The CLC, based on the somewhat older C-Class Sportcoupe is what's presently on offer, but Mercedes is already thought to be working on a new C-Class Cabrio, dubbed the CLR. That paves the way for a revised two-door C-Class hardtop, though Mercedes could simply combine the two projects and build a collapsible hardtop CLR - an increasingly likely scenario these days.
