Acura Introduces TSX V-6 At Chicago Auto Show
Always admired Acura's lean TSX but wished it had a little more pep in its step than the 2.4-liter Accord-sourced four provides? Enter the 2010 Acura TSX V-6, introduced today at the Chicago Auto Show and fortified with Honda's 3.5-liter V-6 in brisk 280 hp tune and, thus, an additional 79 hp. Additional torque provided by the V-6 will likely make an even bigger difference, and while official figures haven't been released, the 3.5-liter makes 258 lb-ft in the Accord, quite a bit more than the TSX four-cylinder's 172 lb-ft.
Alas, claiming "maximum performance and efficiency," Acura offers only its Sequential SportShift automatic...
