Ford is in by far the best shape of the Detroit Three right now. Their sales are up compared to GM and Toyota, and their 2009 Ford Focus and 2009 Ford Escape were two of the top-selling cars bought using Cash-for-Clunkers credits.

Not wanting to be left out of the "reinvention" moment, Ford has launched its own assault on the marketplace, trumpeting the company's "freshest" model lineup in history, as well as fuel efficiency, quality, and Ford's growing market share.

According to a company press release, Ford is rolling out an "unprecedented" number of new models for MY2010, which represent a similarly "unprecedented investment in advanced new powertrains". In the automotive world, the words big and responsive don't normally go together.  The all-new 2010 Lincoln MKT puts those two words comfortably in a curvy shape that stands out in a parking lot and on the road. (What else can you drive with a grill that looks like a baleen whale?)
