Audi of America's President Johan de Nysschen may have put his foot in his mouth by calling buyers of the 2011 Chevrolet Volt "idiots," but Audi headquarters seems to like electric cars.

Enough, at any rate, to trumpet the complete specs of its all-wheel-drive, all-electric e-Tron concept car, revealed this morning at the Frankfurt Auto Show.

Or perhaps we should say concept supercar, since the e-Tron's performance figures clearly put it in that category.

The Bugatti Veyron is, to many, the quintessential supercar: exclusive, incredibly luxurious, and outrageously powerful. But the car has been around for years now, and despite a recent proliferation of special editions, it remains Bugatti's only model. A set of new images leaked to the web today may hint at a change coming this week - but not at the Frankfurt auto show.

Called the Galibier 16C, the concept car is a Bugatti-styled sedan with a somewhat Porsche-Panamera-esque rear end treatment. The front end, while featuring the trademark Bugatti grille, also makes use of air dams that are rather reminiscent of recent Audis.

Citroen may have bombed with its updated DS model, but the French automaker could have much better luck with its reimagined 2CV. The 2CV (aka, the "deux chevaux vapeur", referring to its taxable horsepower) remains ubiquitous in France, even though production ended in 1990. Citroen's update will debut at next week's Frankfurt Auto Show, and it has all the hallmarks of the original -- including a rollback top and suicide doors -- but the lines are refreshed and sleek.
