Mobile Apps: INRIX TRAFFIC! For iPhone And Android Users

They say there's no such thing as a free lunch, but there are loads of other things you can get for nothing -- including thousands of applications for mobile phones. Notable among them is the INRIX TRAFFIC! app, which has been available on the iPhone for some time, and recently launched on the Android platform for Sprint and T-Mobile subscribers. TRAFFIC! uses Clear Channel's Total Traffic Network to provide regularly updated information about accidents, construction projects, and special events that could leave drivers in the lurch. Today In Tchotchkes: Lamborghini Goes Pottery Barn

Giving cars as holiday gifts may be popular on TV, but not everyone can afford the cost of a vehicle -- especially when that vehicle is a supercar. Fortunately for gearheads, Lamborghini has come to the rescue with the next best thing: official "Automobili Lamborghini" holiday candles (53 € / 79) and ornaments (67 € / $100), all in festive, heart-warming shades of black and white. Because if you can't give the one you love a Murcielago, surely an ominous-looking scented candle is the next best thing. [Lamborghini Store via Lamborghini]

On the other hand, they feel a little like toys for aging hipsters who've begun to wax nostalgic about the days of sandboxes, tonsillectomies, and Hot Wheels. (Also, we're still not convinced that kids really want to play with them.) However, our feelings about Automoblox may improve with the company's new lineup, which includes some very sweet-looking hotrod models. It's set to hit stores in time for the holidays, which seems awfully convenient. [Autoblog]
