The 3.5-liter V-6 found under the hoods of the 2009 Lexus IS 350 and GS 350 was honored with a spot on Ward Automotive's 10 Best Engines list for 2009. This marks the fourth year in a row that Lexus' 2GR-FSE V-6 has made the list.

Lexus Recalls GS, IS, And LS For Possible Corrosion In Fuel System

If you own a 2006-2008 Lexus GS350 nee GS300, Lexus IS250/IS350, or Lexus LS460/460L, please check with Lexus to see if your car qualifies for an important recall. In addition, Lexus will be sending you mail notifying you if you have an affected vehicle.

Lexus found that fuel delivery pipes on affected vehicles cannot withstand l0w-moisture ethanol found in some gasoline/ethanol blends, causing corrosion inside the pipes and leading ultimately to pinhole leaks. Fuel delivery pipes will be replaced free of charge by Lexus dealers.

Troublesome ethanol, which seemed such a good idea only years ago, is now shunned by big oil and even causing...
