With a price tag north of $100,000 and a production run of just 11 units, Commuter Cars' Tango EV isn't likely to become a bestseller on the lots -- but then, with Jay Leno test-driving it for all the world to see, you never know. It may be terrifyingly tiny, boasting a profile that only a mother could love, but with a four-second sprint from 0 to 60 mph, we could learn to overlook a lot. (Also noteworthy: it's a finalist for the Progressive Automotive X-Prize, and future models are expected to ring in under $20,000.) Chrysler's 7-hour press conference yesterday to announce its five-year product plan yielded many interesting tidbits, and even a few surprises, all of which we've broken into brands and put in plain English in our coverage at the link below. But that's not all that's happened over the past 24 hours.

Suzuki also released pricing of the new Kizashi sedan, and starting at $18,000, it's sure to make the big-name players in the segment take a cautious look at their own offerings. Talk of raising the gas tax is back on the table, unfortunately, and all of us that put fuel in a car ought to be paying attention.

As anyone who's visited Jay Leno's Garage can attest, Jay really knows what he's talking about when it comes to cars, and he's got a gift for sharing that knowledge and enthusiasm with viewers. Case in point: Jay's video walkaround of the Devon Motor Works GTX at last month's Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance . The Devon spokesman is doing his salesman thing, saying that the car is meant to "bring sexy back" (yeah, that's current). Meanwhile, Jay takes the dude to task for stashing golf clubs in the trunk.
