Honda Element Says 'Bow Wow Wow Yippie Yo Yippie Yay'

Honda today kept things fun in New York, announcing Dog Friendly components fitted to its 2009 Element small SUV. Changes were made to a 2009 Element in order to make it a safer place for you pooch as well as lessening the chances of you colliding with your canine in the cabin.

The Dog Friendly™ components were designed specifically for the Element, they say, and "demonstrate the potential for a dedicated pet restraint system designed to meet the needs of dog owners." A production version of the Dog Friendly Element is slated for this fall.

Opposites attract. So sang Paula Abdul back before she was reduced to incoherent babbling on American Idol and drunk appearances on morning news shows. Mercedes agrees with the 80s pop icon, but they're talking specifically about the colors black and white, the only colors applied to every inch of their new special edition SLK 2LOOK introduced at the Geneva Motor Show.

SLK 2LOOK is an awfully festive (not to mention text-messagey) model name for the typically-sober Mercedes-Benz; maybe they're trying to ride the MINI marketing mojo, or perhaps some sassy Smart execs have moved up through the ranks.
