Video: Cadillac Is Looking For A Few Good (Mad) Men

GM's Bob Lutz recently 86ed the ad agency for Buick, and now Cadillac is losing its marketing firm, too. The brand's contract with Modernista! is up, and according to Cadillac GM Bryan Nesbitt, the agency won't be competing for another round. Plenty of rumors have circulated about the breakup: the ones we tend to believe center on creative differences and the fact that Modernista! is a boutique agency, unlike the old-school, one-size-fits-all shops that GM uses for its other brands. We're sad to see Modernista! go, since its creative was a welcome shot in the arm for often-sleepy Cadillac. Check the clip above to see what we mean. [...

Don't misunderstand -- we think transparency and strong customer relations are great ideas (though they're unfortunately new ones for GM). However, this clip seems pretty wishy-washy. Is it supposed to be selling vehicles? Hyping access to Fritz? Or are we just meant to bask in the low-res beauty of GM's rebranding campaign? Check the clip after the jump...
