Nissan today announced pricing for the 2010 Nissan Murano crossover, which is on sale now across the country at a starting price of $28,050. For 2010, the Murano is offered in three trim levels--S, SL and LE--in a choice of front-wheel drive or with all-wheel drive.

Rumor Mill: Nissan Murano Drop-Top Dropping in 2010

Sometimes, the car industry is a strange and magnificent place, full of rainbows and unicorns and sweet, sweet rides. Other times, it's confusing as all get out. This is one of those times.

Last summer, we mentioned that Nissan was allegedly planning a convertible version of its popular Murano SUV. The general response from you guys: "Why?" We didn't hear much from the rumor mill after that, so we were hoping we might be wrong.

Apparently, we're not so lucky. There's a mole at Nissan, and he or she is reporting that the convertible Nissan Murano is still a go. And it'll be here by summer 2010. Protect the children.
