Chrysler announced today that it will be the first automaker to offer in-car mobile TV with a full channel lineup. The new service, FLO TV Auto Entertainment, will bring up to 20 channels for a monthly fee that's low in comparison to existing satellite services.

Driven: 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 Heavy Duty Bluetec

On quiet residential streets, the 2009 Dodge Ram Heavy Duty is about as far from subtle as you can get. From the front it looks like a (slightly) scaled-down semi, its hoodline almost at average eye level; and in the week we had the Ram, we actually looked down on a Suburban that was just ahead of us at the traffic light, and feared all week of sideswiping another vehicle with the huge, protruding towing mirrors.

I'm a lanky six-foot-six and had to heft myself -upward- to get into the truck. That's a rarity. Anyone normal sized will want to get running boards, or at least a step, installed.

And on a trip to the park, a worried-looking...

Boy, timing is everything!  On the very day we're learning about new strict new CAFE and emissions regulations, here comes more rumblings about a bigger HEMI slated to go in the 2010 Ram Heavy Duty series of trucks.

The chain of reports started at www.PickupTrucks.com and spread like crazy because there is still great interest in pickups despite the down economy and housing market. The fact is that big trucks like the new 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 (and other Heavy Duty Dodge Rams) require big power to move big loads.
