Britain's Autocar magazine has spied the 2010 Hyundai Tucson.

The new crossover vehicle is due in the U.S. later this year, but uncloaked versions have been undergoing testing all year. In April, Hyundai showed a Tucson-related concept car at the 2009 New York auto show. The production version will show up at next month's Frankfurt auto show, with its European "iX35" nameplate.

Front-drive and all-wheel-drive versions will be offered in the U.S. Tucson; a four-cylinder engine and a six-cylinder option are expected to power the new crossover.

You might be able to swing quite a deal today on one of the most luxurious off-road-worthy barges, but be prepared to pay extra—over and over again—in your insurance premiums.

The 2009 Mercedes-Benz G-Class, 2009 Hummer H2, and 2009 Range Rover rank as the most expensive SUVs to insure, according to the insurance shopping site Insure.com.

The G-Class has especially expensive parts, while the H2 is known to cause way more damage than average to other vehicles when in an accident; the Range Rover, on the other hand, is a theft target.

Imagine our surprise when a tipster checked in after we posted our 2009 Kia Sportage spy shots earlier this week. "I find this funny," Brook wrote in. "I am a service manager for a Kia dealership, and we have had the brochures for the new 09 Sportage for over a month, and the pictures do not have any camouflage.
