General Motors announced today that Buick will launch a five-passenger crossover next year, with a plug-in hybrid version to follow in 2011. And it looks to us like the Saturn Vue is getting a three-shields makeover.

GM released an image of the new Buick crossover's grille. Which looks a whole lot like a Saturn Vue with a mildly restyled front end. Compare the grille photo to the one of the Saturn Vue at bottom. Not real different, hmmmmm?

The so-far-unnamed Buick crossover will feature direct-injection gasoline engines, both a 2.4-liter four and a 3.0-liter V6, with the plug-in hybrid following in 2011. Left unclear is whether there will...

The Next New Audi Model Is A...Grand Piano ?!?!?

Audi is celebrating its 100th birthday as a brand these days, with ceremonies that included the unveiling of a 32-foot-long, 10-ton model of the Audi TT sports car.

One was the much-teased 2010 Audi A5 Sportback, a five-door hatchback version of the sleek 2009 Audi A5 coupe.  It's received widespread acclaim for its styling, though it apparently won't be sold in the US. That hatchback problem, you know.
